FAQs
Which CurvLife nail glue should I choose? What’s the difference?
Our nail glues use the same core adhesive ingredients and are designed for 14–28+ days of wear with proper prep and application. The main differences are application style and who they work best for.
- Semi-Solid Nail Glue: Best for most nail types and everyday wear.
- Brush-On Glue: Best for easy, controlled brush-on application.
- GapLock Gel Nail Glue: Best for flat or downward nails.
- Solid Nail Gel Glue: A UV-cured gel adhesive for light-colored press-ons only.
Do I need a UV lamp?
Most CurvLife application options do not require a UV lamp. Our Semi-Solid Glue, Brush-On Glue, and adhesive tabs can all be used without curing.
Only CurvLife Solid Nail Gel Glue requires a UV lamp.
How do I remove press-ons applied with glue?
For easier, more controlled removal, we recommend using CurvLife Pinpoint Remover.
First, soak your nails in warm water with a few drops of oil to help loosen the adhesive. Gently create a small opening near the cuticle, apply the remover, and wait 5–10 seconds. Slowly work a wooden stick along the edge until the press-on begins to release. Repeat as needed, and never force or peel the nail off.
Does nail glue damage natural nails?
Caring for your natural nails starts with a gentle removal routine. Damage is more likely when press-ons are peeled or forced off before the adhesive has fully loosened.
When wearing CurvLife Semi-Solid Glue, we recommend enjoying your set for around two weeks before removal whenever possible. Use remover, take your time, and finish with cuticle oil to help keep your natural nails feeling cared for.
Planning a shorter 3–5 day wear? CurvLife Adhesive Tabs may be a better fit.
