Flat or Downward Nails?
01
Know Your Nail Shape
Flat Nails
Flat nail beds have less natural curve, which can leave extra space under the press-on.
Downward Nails
The nail tip grows downward, which can create a larger gap toward the front of the press-on.
02
Choose GapLock
GapLock Gel Nail Glue
Semi-solid nail glue that stays where you place it and helps fill gaps between your natural nail and press-on.
Semi-Solid Texture
Stays where you place it.
More Control
Less running, less mess.

Quick Application Tips
Prep for better contact.
Push back your cuticles, lightly buff your natural nails, and clean away dust and oil.
Find the gap first.
Check where your natural nail and press-on don’t make full contact. For flat nails, focus on the widest gap. For downward nails, focus on the gap toward the tip.
Apply and spread the glue.
Add a small amount of GapLock Gel Nail Glue inside the press-on and use the press-on to spread it evenly over your natural nail. Then add a little more GapLock directly to the gap area on your natural nail.
Apply at a 45° angle and hold.
Lower the press-on slowly, then hold it steady for about 20 seconds. Don’t press down too hard or let go too soon.
Avoid water for the first 2 hours.
Give the glue time to set for a longer-lasting hold.
❗️ Clean the nozzle before closing.
Let any excess glue retract into the bottle, then wipe the nozzle clean. Make sure no glue is left around the opening before replacing the cap so it’s ready for next time.
