5 Quick Fixes for Better Hold
Don’t skip nail prep.
Buff until matte, push back cuticles, and remove all dust, oil, and moisture.
Use enough nail glue.
Too little glue can leave gaps and bubbles underneath and weaken the bond.
Apply at a 45° angle.
Slide the press-on through the glue, press down slowly, and hold for about 20 seconds.
Avoid water for the first 2 hours.
Getting your nails wet too soon can weaken the bond before the glue fully sets.
Still popping off?
Check your nail shape. Flat or downward nails may leave larger gaps. Add more glue where the gap is largest for better contact.
